Tefferi A et al. GIPSS: genetically inspired prognostic scoring system for primary myelofibrosis. Leukemia. DOI: 10.1038/s41375-018-0107-z. PMID: 29654267. Two points for very-high-risk karyotype and one point each for unfavorable karyotype, absence of a type 1/like CALR mutation, ASXL1, SRSF2, or U2AF1 Q157. Very-high-risk, unfavorable, and favorable karyotype are mutually exclusive classes. Low is 0 points (median survival 26.4 years), intermediate-1 is 1 point (8.0 years), intermediate-2 is 2 points (4.2 years), and high is 3 or more points (2 years). (2018)
