Clinical inputs
Allowed range: 0–15 g/dL
Grams per deciliter. A baseline under 1 g/dL is outside this entry.
Allowed range: 0–15 g/dL
Grams per deciliter. A baseline under 1 g/dL is outside this entry.
Allowed range: 0–15 g/dL
Grams per deciliter. A baseline under 1 g/dL is outside this entry.
Allowed range: 0–50 g/24 h
Milligrams per 24 hours. Urine under 200 mg/24 h at baseline is not required for minimal or partial response.
Allowed range: 0–50 g/24 h
Milligrams per 24 hours. Urine under 200 mg/24 h at baseline is not required for minimal or partial response.
Allowed range: 0–50 g/24 h
Milligrams per 24 hours. Urine under 200 mg/24 h at baseline is not required for minimal or partial response.
Allowed range: 0–100 %
Percent on the aspirate. Complete response needs a value under 5.
Allowed range: 0–100 %
Percent fall in the sum of the products of the perpendicular diameters. More than 90 is required for very good partial response when a lesion remains. At least 50 is required for partial or minimal response. Enter 0 when there is no lesion.

Kumar S et al. International Myeloma Working Group consensus criteria for response and minimal residual disease assessment in multiple myeloma. Lancet Oncol. DOI: 10.1016/S1470-2045(16)30206-6. PMID: 27511158. Table 4, for a baseline serum M-protein of at least 1 g/dL. Biochemical progression is a rise of at least 25% from the lowest value, with a serum rise of at least 0.5 g/dL, or at least 1 g/dL when that lowest value was at least 5 g/dL, or a urine rise of at least 200 mg/24 h, or another listed progression finding. Minimal response is a serum fall of 25% through 49%. Partial response is a serum fall of at least 50%, plus a urine fall of at least 90% or to under 200 mg/24 h when baseline urine was at least 200 mg/24 h. Very good partial response is immunofixation positive with electrophoresis negative in serum and urine, or a serum fall of at least 90% with urine under 100 mg/24 h. Complete response is negative serum and urine immunofixation, disappearance of soft-tissue plasmacytomas, and under 5% marrow plasma cells. Stringent complete response adds a normal free-light-chain ratio and no clonal marrow plasma cells on immunohistochemistry. Marrow minimal residual disease negativity requires complete response and a negative next-generation flow or sequencing assay at a sensitivity of at least 1 in 10^5. Imaging negativity adds resolution of tracer uptake. Sustained negativity repeats marrow and imaging negativity at least 1 year apart. Response categories other than minimal residual disease wait for a second sample. A serum fall from 49.1% through 49.9% meets neither minimal nor partial response. (2016)
