Enter the published formula inputs below to calculate and interpret this score.
Clinical inputs
Allowed range: 18–100 years
Allowed range: 5–160 mL/min/1.73 m²
Estimated GFR in mL/min/1.73 m² at biopsy, as used in the model.
Allowed range: 70–240 mm Hg
Mean arterial pressure is (systolic + 2 × diastolic) / 3, in mm Hg.
Allowed range: 40–160 mm Hg
Mean arterial pressure is (systolic + 2 × diastolic) / 3, in mm Hg.
Allowed range: 0.01–30 g/day
Grams per day. The model uses the natural log, so the value must be above zero.

Barbour SJ et al. Evaluating a new international risk-prediction tool in IgA nephropathy. JAMA Intern Med. DOI: 10.1001/jamainternmed.2019.0600. PMID: 30980653. eTable 3. Five-year risk = 1 − S0(60)^exp(linear predictor), reported here as a percent. The race-free spline 1.0003754 − 0.1131641×u^2 + 0.0964763×u^2×ln(u), with u = (t+0.1)/100, equals S0(60) = 0.94176. Mean arterial pressure = (systolic + 2 × diastolic) / 3. Natural log of proteinuria in g/day. The model with race uses S0(60) = 0.95494 and, because 60 months is after 36 months, the Chinese coefficient +0.818 rather than −0.396. White is the reference category of the race model. T1 and T2 are mutually exclusive. (2019)
