Clinical inputs
The ≥0.3 mg/dL creatinine rise must occur within 48 hours. A rise to ≥1.5 times baseline must have occurred or be presumed to have occurred within the prior 7 days.
Use consecutive urine-output duration: <0.5 mL/kg/h for 6–12 hours (stage 1), <0.5 for ≥12 hours (stage 2), or <0.3 for ≥24 hours or anuria for ≥12 hours (stage 3).
